Fibre optics benefit over other light sources in the following ways:
- Economical and low maintenance (one 60W lamp can supply up to 400 light source points).
- Low UV and no heat emissions from the ends of the fibres make fibre optic lighting ideal for marquee use, or where the fabric of the structure makes other types of lighting unviable.
- Safety, as there is no electricity in the fibre optic harness it can be used in wet or humid conditions or where there is public access.
- Spectacular Effects, twinkle effect, scene setting and colour change coloured wheels are used with up to 6 colour changes.
